BOOM Library SFX Urban Explosions is an explosion sound effects library for After Effects and Premiere Pro, recorded in association with Battlefield V and the audio team at EA / DICE. The explosions were captured in a real urban environment, an abandoned area with buildings arranged like a modern city, so the reverbs and tails carry an urban character rather than artificial post-production processing. A non-urban explosion on a plain field is also included.
The Construction Kit edition captures each explosion with up to 42 microphones placed close, at medium distance, distant, and in front of, behind and inside buildings. Every explosion comes with a minimum of 24 channels, including a 4-channel ambisonic file, and the kit adds sweeteners for impact, smack, punch, tail, cackling, rumbling and character.
The Designed edition offers ready-to-use explosion sounds in Indoor, Neutral and Urban categories, each in small, medium and large sizes, with choices for distance, speed and character. Both editions ship in stereo and 5.1 surround as WAV at 24-bit / 96kHz for Windows and Mac.
