Cut to Beat helps Premiere Pro editors find useful cut points in music-based edits. Select a WAV, MP3, MP4, or M4A audio clip from the timeline or project, choose Low, Balanced, or High sensitivity, and the plugin creates numbered beat markers in the active sequence.
From those markers you can generate a visual guide layer, using a 30-second or 1-minute guide range, to make rhythm-based cutting faster and easier. Cut to Beat removes only its own markers while keeping user-created markers safe, and it can hide generated guide clips when automatic removal is blocked by Premiere Pro.
WAV is recommended and analyzed directly, while MP3, MP4, and M4A analysis is attempted through host decoding or a temporary WAV proxy when supported by Premiere Pro and Adobe Media Encoder. It is designed as a practical workflow assistant: it does not automatically edit your video and does not claim perfect BPM, bar, or music-structure detection. If compressed analysis is unavailable, convert the file to WAV and run Mark Beats again.
