DreamFerry earns its place for connecting Premiere Pro directly to KIE.AI's model catalog, so generated media imports and lands on the timeline without manual downloads.
DreamFerry is a panel that brings generative AI into Adobe Premiere Pro. From inside the panel you can generate images, video, and AI chat using a curated set of today's top models, then send the result straight to your sequence. Pick a model, write a prompt, and optionally pull references from your bin, a timeline frame, or the Asset library before you generate.
When you click Generate, DreamFerry runs the job, downloads the result, imports it into a bin, and can place it on a video track at the playhead. Generation runs on KIE.AI's servers rather than your machine, so an internet connection is required. The models come from KIE.AI's catalog, and DreamFerry ships a curated set across image, video, and chat, built to add more as KIE.AI expands its offerings.
DreamFerry uses your own KIE.AI account and API key, added in Settings, and each generation consumes your KIE.AI credits. Your key is stored locally in a settings file with restricted permissions and is never logged. Results land in a GenAI folder and bin, leaving your source media untouched. The panel runs on both Windows and macOS.
DreamFerry is best for editors working in Premiere Pro who want to generate images, video, and AI chat through KIE.AI models directly inside the panel.

DreamFerry requires your own KIE.AI account and API key, which you add in Settings. It drives the KIE.AI API rather than running the models itself, so each generation runs on KIE.AI's servers and consumes your KIE.AI credits, with no separate per-generation charge from DreamFerry. You'll also need an internet connection, since generation happens on KIE.AI's servers and not on your machine. Once your key is in place, you can pick a model, write a prompt, and generate directly from the Premiere Pro panel.
DreamFerry runs as a panel in Adobe Premiere Pro on both Windows and macOS. The panel loads on Premiere Pro 22.0 and newer, and has been tested on the current 2026 release. On the system side, it supports Windows 10 and 11 and macOS. Because generation runs on KIE.AI's servers rather than your machine, you'll also need an internet connection for jobs to complete.
DreamFerry does not change your original files. Results are downloaded into a GenAI folder and bin, and your source media stays untouched. From there, results import into a bin, and you can optionally have them placed on a video track at the playhead. This keeps generated media separate from your existing footage while still landing it on your sequence when you want it.
DreamFerry stores your API key locally, in a settings file with restricted permissions. The key is never logged or included in any output. You add it once in the Settings panel using your own KIE.AI account, and DreamFerry uses it to drive the KIE.AI API for each generation. Because you bring your own key, generations run on your KIE.AI account and consume your KIE.AI credits.
DreamFerry is listed as free here in the catalog. Keep in mind that generations run on KIE.AI's servers and consume credits from your own KIE.AI account; DreamFerry never charges you separately per generation.
