FreeForm Pro is Mettle's pro-level 3D mesh warp plug-in for After Effects. It works with GEOlayers to create 3D terrains based on real data.
The plug-in supports multi-frame rendering and runs natively on Apple Silicon Macs. Its Primitives include a texture sampling mode called interval frame. Compatibility spans After Effects 2026, 2025, 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021 and 2020, along with CC 2019, CC 2018, CC 2017 and CC 2015.3, so it covers both recent releases and older Creative Cloud versions.
The current build is version 1.99.9, released on October 8, 2025, which fixed an After Effects 25.4 compatibility issue on Windows only; the latest macOS version remains 1.99.8. Earlier updates brought native Apple Silicon support and multi-frame rendering. A demo video is available.
