Kease earns its place in the aescripts library by covering both standard and multi-keyframe easing in one tool, pairing a preset library and graph editor with modifier-key actions and keyboard shortcuts.
Kease is an easing tool for After Effects, built by Davide Boscolo. It works with both standard and multi-keyframe easing curves, aiming to make keyframe easing faster and smoother.
The tool centers on a Preset Library and a Graph editor. The Preset Library lets you organize, create, import and export any number of Simple and Multi-keyframe presets, and ships with a fixed set of 12 Simple easing presets. The Graph editor lets you copy, apply, manipulate and save Simple and Multi-keyframe curves. Alongside these, Kease offers copy and paste for both easing and values, keyboard shortcuts, and modifier keys that target the incoming, middle or outgoing section of a curve. The UI is customizable: organized into groups, adjustable in size and color, and optionally labeled by name or influence values.

Kease supports both standard and multi-keyframe easing curves. Its Graph editor lets you copy, apply, manipulate and save Simple and Multi-keyframe curves, while the Preset Library can organize, create, import and export any number of Simple and Multi-keyframe presets. That means you can work with easing across a single keyframe pair or a longer run of keyframes and reuse it later. A fixed set of 12 Simple easing presets is also included.
Kease assigns modifier keys to different sections of an easing curve. Shift targets the incoming section, Ctrl or Opt targets the middle section, and Alt or Cmd targets the outgoing section. These alternate actions apply when copying and pasting an easing curve, when applying a preset, and when applying a curve from the Graph editor. Combined with keyboard shortcuts, this lets you direct changes to a specific part of the easing rather than the whole curve.
