MassFx- Dynamic Physics Painter is a Blender add-on built to populate scenes quickly and in a natural way. It uses Blender's rigid body system to drop or paint assets onto any surface: you assign objects to a collection, then click, drag and release to watch them pile up. A particle-based brush handles the painting side, and both particle and physics settings stay within reach in the panel.
The interface is a simplified, user-friendly panel aimed at both beginner and professional Blender users. Recent updates added a Collection Manager, moved brush height control to Shift plus mouse scroll, and stored a custom brush rather than starting from the active object. The add-on also adds a passive rigid body automatically when one isn't detected, and recent fixes addressed a raycast error and errors when applying empty objects.
Version 3.1 lists compatibility with Blender 2.79 through 2.92 and is released under the GPL license. A demo video is available, and the add-on has recorded over 300 sales with 13 ratings. Proxy generation and a cursor widget are noted as upcoming features.
