OverAct earns a spot in the aescripts library as a single-purpose effect for overshoot and bounce, applied through its own panel and adjustable across one or several properties.
OverAct is an After Effects effect for creating expressive overshoot and bounce animations, an approach described as bending physics. It is applied to layers through a dedicated OverAct panel, and it can be used on a single property or several properties at once.
Its adjustments are split between overshoot controls and bounce controls, and default settings can be changed and saved as presets. When the effect is no longer needed, it can be removed from the layer. A graph editor overview and a demo video are available.
