Plugin Everything Extrude turns live text layers, shapes, and masks into extruded geometry in After Effects with a single click. It offers three modes: Directional, Vanishing, and 3D Camera, and the 3D extrude mode works with After Effects cameras. It is compatible with After Effects' inbuilt text animators and path-aligned text.
Shading can be solid or gradient, controlled through a gradient color wheel and a radial gradient editor that supports up to 32 colors, and non-interpolating gradients produce flat shading. Inner extrusion transitions between outer and inner, and you can control the pivot anchor with individual front and back extrusion parameters. Performance is GPU accelerated, with inbuilt anti-aliasing for hi-fidelity results and robust handling of intersecting and overlapping paths across merge paths and mask modes. It is 32bpc MFR capable and Apple silicon native.
A few limitations apply: motion blur is generated as a post-process with CC Force Motion Blur, shape layer primitives must be converted from parametric to bezier paths before extruding, and only the Merge Paths and Transform shape effectors are supported. It runs on After Effects releases from CC 2017 through 2026 and pairs with Path Visualizer.
