Simplicage is a Blender addon that quickly generates physics-ready cages for your models through Blender cloth physics. It automates the setup process so you can prepare physics for animations in a short time.
The addon generates cages from mesh, bone selection or vertex groups, and can create collision boxes from the same sources. A presets system ships with defaults for the most common applications, and a dedicated tool lets you manage available cages and bake them. Complete documentation is available, along with a demo video.
Simplicage is not aimed at beginners, and the developer recommends understanding how physics cages work in Blender before using it. An official Discord server offers help, tips, and a preset sharing channel for the cloth modifier. On Superhive it currently ranks around 85 in popularity, and it is released under the GPL license.
