SlackOut earns its place in the aescripts library as a focused delivery tool that ties Premiere Pro and After Effects exports to Slack uploads in one panel. The 3.1.6 update fixed sequence profiles not updating, and earlier releases added After Effects compatibility.
SlackOut is a plugin for Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects that automates exporting your videos and delivering them to Slack. From a panel you can set an export preset, including custom ones, and choose where the file lands: an "export" folder next to your project file, or a folder you pick.
The plugin handles file naming and increments each file so it stays unique. Once a render is ready, it can upload the video to Slack, either to a channel or directly to a user, and optionally delete the local copy after upload. Settings are memorized per sequence, so you configure them once.
SlackOut supports Premiere Pro and After Effects across the 2021, 2022 and 2023 releases. A demo video is available on the developer's page.

After Effects compatibility was added in a December 2022 update, so both applications are covered across those three versions. If you run one of these releases, the plugin can handle your export and Slack delivery workflow. SlackOut can upload your exported video to Slack, either to a channel or to an individual user. You choose the destination as part of the export setup. It can also delete the local file once the upload finishes, if you prefer not to keep a copy on disk. Because the panel memorizes settings per sequence, you set the destination once and it persists for that sequence.
