2DFbend slices and curves any layer inside After Effects, turning flat elements into smooth bends, circular layouts, and complex curved structures without complicated setups. It's aimed at motion designers who want speed, precision, and creative flexibility while shaping layers.
The workflow runs in three steps: select your layer, define the number of segments, then click Apply. You can apply more than one bend to a layer, reapply to change the segment amount, and reach additional options through the effect panel and interface settings.
2DFbend comes from 2DeadFrog and sits in the aescripts library. The current version, 1.0.1, was released on April 24, 2026 as its initial release, and it runs with After Effects 2026 and 2025. A demo video is available for a closer look at the tool.
