AE Purger is a simple tool for clearing cache and purging RAM within After Effects, created by Renico van Wyk. The plugin handles two tasks inside After Effects: clearing the cache and purging RAM. Both actions run within the application itself.
The current version, 1.2, is compatible with After Effects 2025 and 2024. Released on May 10, 2025, this version added an alert that warns rendered files will be deleted when clearing the cache. Earlier builds, the 1.0 and 1.1 releases, arrived in April and May of the same year.
