AE Sheets earns its place in the aescripts library by combining AI translation, spreadsheet-driven text management, and typographic controls in one localization panel for After Effects. The AI features rely on your own Gemini or OpenAI API key, and it lists compatibility with After Effects 2026, 2025, and 2024.
AE Sheets is an After Effects extension built for video localization and translation. Working from a single panel, it lets motion designers index text layers, apply language presets, and generate multiple localized versions of a composition. Text layers are indexed by selection or by manual caret notation such as ^1 in the timeline, and the same index can be assigned to several layers so they update together.
It ships with 64 built-in language presets spanning major global markets and regional variants, alongside support for custom presets. Each preset can override font family, size, leading, and tracking, enable right-to-left flow for scripts like Arabic and Hebrew, and link a Font Map for per-font substitution.
