Why we like it

Architect Pro earns its place in the aescripts library by focusing on the small, repetitive timeline moves: shifting clips between tracks, inserting from the project panel and setting up safe copy-paste.

What is Architect Pro?

Architect Pro is a Leyero extension for Premiere Pro built around adding and moving clips on the timeline. It handles moving selected clips up or down to the next available track and swapping the tracks two clips sit on.

For getting clips onto the timeline, Architect Pro inserts items selected in the project panel. Select a folder instead of a single clip and it inserts a random item from within it. Multiple selected items can be placed stacked on top of each other or laid out in a row, and you can set a minimum video and audio track for inserts. Copying clips reads their data and sets the appropriate video and audio tracks as targets so pasted clips land safely. The extension also includes Spell Book integration.

Architect Pro runs with Premiere Pro 2026, 2025 and 2024. This card lists it as free, so check the developer's page for current licensing. A demo video is available.

Who is Architect Pro best for?

Architect Pro is best for premiere Pro editors who frequently rearrange, insert and duplicate clips across timeline tracks.

How much does Architect Pro cost?

Architect Pro is completely free to download and use.

Frequently asked questions

Does Architect Pro work with Premiere Pro 2024?

Architect Pro is listed as compatible with Premiere Pro 2026, 2025 and 2024, so 2024 is supported. If you run one of these versions you should be able to use its timeline features, including moving clips between tracks, inserting items from the project panel and copy-paste track targeting. For anything outside this range, check the developer's page before installing, since compatibility beyond the listed versions is not stated here.

What happens if I select a folder instead of a clip to insert with Architect Pro?

Architect Pro lets you insert items selected in the project panel, and if you select a folder rather than a single clip, it inserts a random item from within that folder. This gives you a way to drop in a clip from a bin without picking a specific one first. You can also choose to set a minimum video and audio track for where inserted clips land.

How does Architect Pro insert multiple selected clips?

Architect Pro can insert multiple selected items in two arrangements: stacked on top of each other, or laid out in a row. You choose which arrangement to use when inserting. Alongside this, Architect Pro can move selected clips up or down to the next available track and swap the tracks that selected clips occupy, so you can adjust their placement after inserting.

Is Architect Pro free?

Architect Pro is listed as free in this catalog, but licensing terms can change, so check the developer's page on aescripts for the current details before you download. Once installed, Architect Pro works with Premiere Pro 2026, 2025 and 2024, and covers timeline tasks like moving clips between tracks, inserting items from the project panel and setting tracks for safe copy-paste. A demo video is available if you want to see the extension in action first.
