BOOM Library Guns is a firearm sound effects collection you can use in After Effects and Premiere Pro projects. It spans 17 weapons — 6 pistols, 7 rifles and 4 shotguns — including the AK47, Colt M4, Beretta M9, Colt 1911 and Ithaca M37. The library comes in three editions. The Designed collection offers over 350 ready-to-use royalty-free gun sounds: 17 weapons with four shots each across four style sets — Light, Crispy, Realistic and Larger than Life — plus handling sounds, delivered in 96kHz/24bit. The Construction Kit provides more than 2,600 royalty-free source sounds as 12-channel multitrack recordings, over 9 GB in total. The Bundle contains both the Designed and Construction Kit editions.
The Construction Kit's Remastered Edition refines the sounds with improved stereo imaging, updated labelling and metadata. All sounds ship as WAV files at 24bit, up to 192kHz, for Windows and Mac, so you can import and work with them in any software.

BOOM Library Guns covers 17 firearms split into 6 pistols, 7 rifles and 4 shotguns. The rifles include the AK47, Colt M4, Dragunov PSL, GSG5, Mosin Nagant, Ruger 10/22 and SKS M59. Pistols cover the Beretta M9, Colt 1911, FNH FNP40, FNH FNP45, KelTec P318 and the S&W Model 66 Magnum Revolver. Shotguns include the Ithaca M37, Maverick 88, Maverick 88 Field Model and Winchester 1300. Sounds span shots, bursts, handling, loading and dryfire, available as designed shots and multitrack source recordings.
BOOM Library Guns ships as WAV files for Windows and Mac. The Construction Kit and Designed collections are provided at 24bit, 96kHz, while the Bundle spans 96/192kHz. Because everything comes as standard WAV files, you can import and work with the sounds in any software, including After Effects and Premiere Pro. The Bundle holds 564 files and 3092 sounds at 10.8 GB, the Construction Kit 455 files and 2656 sounds at 9.8 GB, and the Designed collection 109 files and 436 sounds at 1 GB.
BOOM Library Guns' Construction Kit received a Remastered edition in September 2025. The update removed the almost silent handling recording channel, combined stereo setups into true stereo files and applied subtle processing to highlight microphone strengths. Files were renamed to current UCS filename conventions, with improved naming for readability and corrected errors in labelling, descriptions, and mic and weapon naming. Metadata was updated for faster, more accurate searches. The developer notes the upgrade is free for owners of the original.
