Control LMFX is a panel for After Effects that centers on smart control over layer and effect groups. It speeds up workflow by keeping a set of everyday tools inside one panel rather than spread across the interface.
The panel covers several areas. Duplicate Compositions handles quick composition duplication in the timeline when you hold Shift, and the FPS Editor changes the frame rate of selected media or compositions based on the active composition, with manual framerate input and expanded filtering. Recolor Keyframes supports text layer keyframe animation, while Sort Files adds a keyword-based sorting mode and an Unused Files sorting group. FX Manager and Group Viewer include an effects list view, and the Palette Manager handles color palettes.
Version 1.1.4 added Duplicate Compositions and the Shift-based FPS editing, an option to set the default label color for newly created null objects, and performance fixes for long After Effects sessions. It runs on After Effects 2022 through 2026, and a demo video is available.
