Crowd Mixer 2.0 is a crowd-building add-on for Blender that starts from ready-made presets, so you can load a setup and move into scene building without assembling the whole crowd system from scratch. It covers three crowd types: Stadium Crowd for audience seating and row-based layouts, Flow Crowd for moving characters along paths with directional motion, and Standing Crowd for static groups, waiting zones, and event spaces with dense placement.
To break up repetition, it offers a wider range of human models, saved preset sets, and broader outfit variety, plus randomization controls. Color Theme applies palette-based color changes across the crowd, while Instance Override lets you select an instance point to swap the character, offset position, rotation, and scale, toggle visibility, and override speed on flow crowds. Snap to Scene places specific characters where you want them.
For heavier shots, Proxy Mode shows lightweight viewport characters, and Crowd Visibility Control splits crowds into node groups you can toggle while previewing. It comes in Lite and Standard, with the Single Mesh workflow in both and the Modular Mesh workflow in Standard only.
