Editnote earns its place in the Adobe Exchange library as a debut release that keeps note-taking inside Premiere Pro through a plain load-and-save txt workflow.
Editnote is a memo function that sits on the Adobe Premiere Pro screen, developed by Rightscrew. It gives editors a place to keep written notes inside the application rather than switching to a separate program.
The panel works through two buttons. Load File opens a txt file, and Save writes your notes back out to a file. With notes on screen, you can check correction instructions and things to do later without leaving Premiere. Because your notes save to a txt file, you can reopen them later with the Load File button.
Editnote is a debut release at version 1.0.0 and runs on Premiere Pro 25.6.2 and later. It's listed here as free, and current licensing details are on the developer's page at rightscrew.com. On Adobe Exchange it holds a popularity rank of 379.
Editnote is best for premiere Pro editors who want to keep correction instructions and to-do notes on screen without switching to another application.
Editnote is completely free to download and use.
Editnote is compatible with Premiere Pro 25.6.2 and later. If you are running that release or a newer one, the memo panel is supported. On earlier versions it may not work, so confirm your Premiere Pro build before installing. Editnote is a debut release at version 1.0.0, published on 2025-12-05, and the most current compatibility information is available on the developer's page at rightscrew.com.
Editnote handles notes through two buttons. Clicking Load File opens a txt file so you can bring existing text into the panel, and clicking Save writes your current notes back out as a file. Because the notes live in a standard txt file, you can store correction instructions and things to do later, then reopen them in another session. This keeps your note-taking inside Premiere Pro rather than in a separate program.
Editnote is listed here as free, so you can add the memo panel to Premiere Pro at no stated cost. Licensing terms can change over time, though, so the developer's page at rightscrew.com is the best place to confirm current pricing and usage rights before you rely on it. As a debut release at version 1.0.0, its terms may also evolve as future updates arrive, which is another reason to check the official source.
Editnote version 1.0.0 is the debut release, published on 2025-12-05. As the first public version, it introduces the memo panel itself along with its Load File and Save buttons for working with txt notes inside Premiere Pro. There is no prior version history to compare against yet, so this build represents the plugin's starting feature set. For any later updates or changes beyond this release, the developer's page at rightscrew.com is where new version notes would appear.
