FXEQ places five creative effect types behind a single EQ-driven workflow. Each module carries its own 6-band EQ with four filter shapes and adjustable Q, so effects are applied per band rather than as a standard multi-effects chain.
The effect set covers saturation with eight modes, lo-fi with four modes, modulation via chorus, flanger, phaser, and doubler, three reverbs, and four delay types. A zero-latency limiter sits on the output to prevent clipping, and each effect uses straightforward controls.
More than 50 presets are included, along with a random preset picker for a quick starting point. An FX Only mode removes the dry signal so FXEQ can run as a send effect. It's part of iZotope's Catalyst Series, a line of purpose-built plugins aimed at solving mix problems. FXEQ runs in Premiere Pro CC 2025 and other supported hosts, and a demo video is available.
