Keystone 3 is a toolset for After Effects from Romain Cousin, built for animators. It brings together functions to align, stagger, order and stretch layers, along with color labels, inside one panel.
The stagger tools include Bezier controllers, three methods for calculating stagger and a cumulative mode. Keystone 3 also adds Keyframe Values and Layer Order sections, plus section shortcuts for moving between its controls.
The Anchor section repositions anchor points or creates null objects with a CTRL/CMD click, and can target individual layers, layer groups, the composition, custom coordinates, or the internal anchor points of shape and text layers. Null layers created by the Anchor functions are placed directly above the selected layers and trimmed to match the length of their children. Version 3.1.4 works with After Effects 2026, 2025, 2024, 2023 and 2022.
