Manifesto earns its place for handling rolls and crawls without keyframes, since their duration follows the clip automatically. Note that it requires Noise Industries FxFactory to run.
Manifesto is a titling tool for creating static titles, title rolls and title crawls. It ships with multiple templates for static titles and animated rolls and crawls. The static title generator lets you create and adjust simple one-line titles from the parameter inspector, while more complex titles and styles are entered through a separate text editing window.
Animation is handled without keyframes. The text scrolls in and out of frame automatically based on the length of the generator track, and you can match a title roll or crawl to the duration of a clip, including a different clip. Manifesto can also reference an existing RTF file on disk, so text input and layout can be handled entirely in an external program.
Built-in motion blur and de-flickering support high-quality animations at any frame rate while reducing interlacing artifacts. Masking uses external media to determine which portions of the title are visible, or vice versa. Manifesto requires Noise Industries FxFactory to run and works on Apple Silicon and Intel processors.
Noise Industries Manifesto (Free) is best for editors creating static titles, title rolls and title crawls without keyframing.
Noise Industries Manifesto (Free) is completely free to download and use.
Manifesto runs in Final Cut Pro X, Motion, After Effects, Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, on both Apple Silicon and Intel processors. Across these hosts it creates static titles, title rolls and title crawls. For static one-line titles you work directly in the parameter inspector, while more complex titles and styles are entered through a separate text editing window. Because Manifesto depends on Noise Industries FxFactory, the supported operating systems and hardware follow FxFactory's own system requirements, which the developer keeps current on the FxFactory page.
Manifesto requires Noise Industries FxFactory to run, which is available as a free download. FxFactory acts as the host environment for the plug-in across Final Cut Pro X, Motion, After Effects, Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve. There is also FxFactory Pro, a paid version that carries the same system requirements as the free one. For the current supported operating systems and hardware, refer to the FxFactory page, since Manifesto's requirements are tied to whatever FxFactory itself supports.
Manifesto does not require keyframes for its animated titles. The text is scrolled in and out of frame automatically, based on the length of the generator track, so you set the timing by adjusting that track rather than placing keyframes. The same behaviour lets you match a title roll or crawl to the duration of a different clip. Keyframing stays optional, but the automatic approach is enough to produce rolls and crawls that align with the length of your footage.
Manifesto can reference an existing RTF file stored on disk, so you can prepare your text and layout in an external program and have the plug-in read from that file. This lets you rely entirely on outside software for text input and layout. Alongside RTF referencing, Manifesto offers a static title generator for one-line titles in the parameter inspector, plus a separate text editing window for more complex titles and styles.
