Line Em Up earns its place in the aescripts library for handling both differently styled text layers and non-text layers in one alignment workflow.
Line Em Up is a script for After Effects built by Gary Reisman for aligning layers in a composition. It dynamically lines up different style text layers as well as non-text layers, so you can arrange mixed content within a single workflow.
Version 1.1 expands what the tool handles. Text layers can now be scaled, and the script works with paragraphs that have any justification. It adds text layer initial alignment, and applies an anchor point expression to text layers to ensure anchor point accuracy that improves the spacing between text layers.
