Lockdown handles warping and planar surface tracking inside After Effects, letting you clean up and paint within a stabilized composition. Its Paint Link workflow supports frame-by-frame animation and lets you apply Photoshop's A.I. Generative Fill to moving footage. Composite Brush adds a precise color selector and modifier for After Effects.
On the 3D side, Lockdown exports tracking data to Cinema 4D as a C4D file, or to other 3D applications such as Blender via Alembic. You can attach objects in 3D and relight your mesh. The plugin runs with After Effects 2022 through 2025, Cinema 4D from R15 through 2025, plus a wide span of Blender, Houdini and Maya releases.
Lockdown is listed here as free. Per the developer's notes, the free version includes 3D planar tracking and everything the paid version offers, except for mesh tracking. A demo video is available.
