Film Leaders earns its place in the toolfarm library for the range of control it gives over a single effect: text, textures, backgrounds, channel shifts and animation are all adjustable, with 57 presets as a starting point.
Luca Visual FX Film Leaders is a plugin for building grungy, glitchy film leaders and titles inside After Effects, Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve. You type in your text, pick a font, and choose text textures or a plain color, then adjust the parameters to decide how the overall effect looks and what the leader says or shows.
Beyond text, you can add effects, shift channels, select a background or leave it off, and tweak the animation controls to shape a dynamic leader. The result can be used as an intro, transition or overlay, and the controls reach far enough to create original animated text that goes beyond the look of a traditional leader.
