Mercury is an After Effects script from Casey Baker that applies free-form liquid deformations to shapes, solids, text, and masks. Any object can be turned into a liquid object, with customizable liquid thickness and evolution.
Version 1.4, released in March 2022, added macOS Catalina and above compatibility along with Apple Silicon M1 support, and integrated a new licensing framework. Earlier updates fixed an "Object is invalid" error and refreshed the licensing framework for Catalina. Mercury runs across a wide range of After Effects releases, from CS6 through the 2022 version, and covers CC through CC 2019 in between.
