Pluck earns its place in the Toolfarm library by replacing the manual round trip of opening, reducing and re-importing whole projects with a drag-and-drop panel that pulls only the comps you need.
Mooviemakers Pluck is an After Effects plug-in that lets you move and reuse comps across projects without importing whole project files. Drop an .aep onto the Pluck panel and it reads the file without opening it in After Effects, showing every composition inside with its dimensions, fps and duration. You can search and filter by name, select one comp or many, and see everything before importing. Only the comps you pick land in your project, along with their precomps and footage.
When importing, Pluck resolves dependencies automatically, deduplicates footage by relinking existing items rather than duplicating them, and flags broken expression references.
