Motion Flow stands out in the superhive library for packaging motion graphics work into Geometry Nodes, so animations come from connecting building blocks rather than manual keyframing. The bundled 55+ examples and documentation give a starting point for learning the node setups.
Motion Flow - Procedural Animation Toolkit brings a procedural approach to motion graphics in Blender, built entirely on Geometry Nodes. It lets you assemble animations from a set of building blocks rather than keyframes or code, so connecting nodes is enough to build animations. The package includes more than 20 custom motion graphics nodes, over 40 motion text presets, 55+ examples, and documentation.
The node set covers a range of tasks. Array nodes handle advanced array effects with count, spacing, offset, sphere packing, and voxel effects. Animation, Animate Value, and Wave Value nodes generate procedural or cyclic values, while the Interpolation node adjusts interpolation with common types. Loop Transform applies repeated translation, rotation, and scaling on random axes, Mix Transform blends between transforms, and Follow Curve places instances along a curve. Text Style, Text Color, and Text Shader nodes build and shade solid text, and a Plexus node generates connection lines between points.
Motion Flow is compatible with Blender 4.2 and later. Install it by dragging the ZIP into the Blender window, or extract it and add the folder to Asset Libraries in preferences, then access nodes through the Add menu or the Asset Browser.
Motion Flow - Procedural Animation Toolkit is best for blender artists building procedural motion graphics, animated titles, and abstract motion designs with Geometry Nodes instead of keyframes.
Motion Flow - Procedural Animation Toolkit is completely free to download and use.
Motion Flow is compatible with Blender 4.2 and later versions, and it is built entirely on Geometry Nodes, so animations are assembled from nodes rather than keyframes. One thing to note for newer releases: in Blender 5.0, assets are imported using Pack mode by default, which prevents editing. To edit them, localize the asset through Object, Relations, Make Local, All, or change the import mode to Append instead. This lets you explore and modify the node setups directly.
Motion Flow installs like a standard Blender add-on. You can drag the ZIP file directly into the Blender window, or extract the ZIP manually and add its folder to Asset Libraries in the Blender preferences. To reach it, split the 3D Viewport and switch one section to the Asset Browser, then select Motion Flow from the asset library list. From there you can add nodes through the Add menu with Shift + A, drag nodes from the Asset Browser into the Node Editor, or drag motion text presets into the 3D Viewport.
Motion Flow includes more than 40 motion text presets for quick results. To use one, drag it into the 3D Viewport and adjust its parameters in the Modifiers panel. The text nodes back this up: the Text Style node converts text curves into solid geometry with controls for thickness, bevel, and resampling, while the Text Color and Text Shader nodes set colors and shaders for specific parts of the text model. There are also 55+ examples whose node setups you can open for learning and reference.
Motion Flow is listed as free here in our catalog. Because licensing terms can change over time, check the developer's page from cgpiece for the current details before you download. The package itself comes with more than 20 custom nodes, over 40 motion text presets, 55+ examples, and documentation, all built on Blender's Geometry Nodes so you can build procedural motion graphics without keyframes or coding.
