Sitni Sati FumeFX is a gaseous fluid dynamics simulator for Maxon Cinema 4D, built to simulate and render fire, smoke, explosions and other gaseous phenomena. Its fire and smoke behave according to the laws of fluid dynamics and react to physical forces such as temperature and gravity, producing voxel-based simulations. A dynamic feature set, intuitive interface and open architecture are designed to fit a range of pipelines.
The FumeFX interface brings simulation, rendering, presets and source parameters together in one place, with navigation through simulation caches. Parameters can be changed during simulation with instant feedback, and sources can be edited directly. A GPU-accelerated viewport produces render-comparable images and supports viewport .png export during simulation.
FumeFX supports the Standard, Physical and Arnold renderers, while Redshift, V-Ray, Octane and Corona can render its caches through the OpenVDB file format. Simulation tasks can run on another machine using Deadline or remote desktop applications. Over its development FumeFX has been used on studio productions, including films such as Dr. Strange, Thor and 2012, and game cinematics like StarCraft II.
