SMP Pro earns a spot in the aescripts library for turning per-property busywork into composition-wide selections and batch edits. SMP Pro is a property selection and editing tool for After Effects, built by Othman Ahmed to work across an entire composition rather than one property group at a time. You scan all layers or restrict the search to selected layers only, then narrow results with filters for matching values, expressions, or animation state.
Once a set of properties is selected, you can act on all of them at once. Type an expression in the SMP Pro editor and click Inject to apply the code to every selected property simultaneously, or batch-remove keyframes and expressions in a single pass. A Limit Results option caps the selection count to keep large projects from freezing.
Typical jobs include deleting keyframes from static properties that were accidentally keyed, changing every Fill Color that matches an old brand value, and injecting a loopOut() expression into many rotation properties in one click.
