Sound Prompter generates sound effects and music as .wav files from the layers in your composition, with the AI running locally on your machine. It analyzes your clip and creates sound effects, and optionally music, within a few seconds. The generated audio is synced to your video's content and works on real-world footage, 3D renderings, motion design work and AI-generated clips.
Setup starts by applying the effect to the layer you want the SFX for. That can be a subcomp or an adjustment layer, letting multiple layers participate in the sound creation. Add a Text Input to place a mask linked to the Positive Prompt field, then rename the mask to change the prompt. A second Text Input linked to the Negative Prompt suppresses certain keywords, such as music.
Click Generate Audio to run it. The first invocation can take up to a minute while the AI model loads and the frames render, after which you can iterate with different prompts and settings much faster. The finished .wav file is added to your project and placed on the timeline above the effect layer.
