Styler Durden DCTL is a color tool for DaVinci Resolve that generates millions of adjustable looks from only two building blocks: Simple Mix DCTL and Stone DCTL. It works within every color space, with the developer naming DaVinci Wide Gamut, ACES, Arri LogC4, RED Log3G10 and Sony S-Log3 among the options.
The looks are organized around highlight and shadow color pairings — magenta highlights with green shadows, blue with yellow, cyan with red, green with magenta, yellow with blue, and red with cyan. Alongside these, the tool includes 12 presets each for Lift Mix, Gamma Mix, Gain Mix and Offset Mix.
Styler Durden DCTL runs on DaVinci Resolve 16 through 21 and is currently at version 0.1.1, released August 1, 2024. It is listed here as free, and a demo video is available.
