Carousel XPress stands out in the Toolfarm library for turning selected layers into a parameter-driven carousel rig with a single click.
Carousel XPress creates a carousel inside After Effects with one click. Drag your material onto the composition, select the layers and choose a carousel type. All layers then become part of a rig controlled by a Control Layer with many parameters, which you can change and animate. Every layer in the rig also has a local parameter for fine-tuning its position. It is meant for product presentation, looping backgrounds, lettering and other effects.
The first version includes five carousel types: Linear, Circular 2D, Circular 3D, Exponential and Path. Once a carousel is created, some properties such as position and rotation may be filled with expressions. For more control over each item, including an animation in or out of the screen, you can create the carousel over Nulls by holding SHIFT before clicking the desired carousel type — the expressions are applied to the Nulls, and each item is parented accordingly.
The UI is responsive, so it fits into your workspace. A trial version is available, and if you buy the license you don't need to download any other files — just paste the license code.

Carousel XPress runs in a wide range of After Effects versions, including 2026, 2025, 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021 and 2020, as well as CC 2019, CC 2018, CC 2017, CC 2015.3, CC 2015, CC 2014, CC and CS6. Carousel XPress works with a one-click approach. Drag your material onto the composition, select the layers, then choose one of the carousel types. From there the selected layers become part of a rig controlled by a Control Layer with many parameters you can change and animate. Each layer in the rig also carries a local parameter you can use to fine-tune its position, giving you control over the overall arrangement as well as individual items.
Carousel XPress lets you create a carousel over Nulls for more control over each item, such as an animation in or out of the screen. To do this, hold SHIFT before clicking the desired carousel type. The expressions that would otherwise fill properties like position and rotation are then applied to the Nulls, and each item is parented accordingly. This gives you a way to work with individual items beyond the standard rig setup.
Carousel XPress offers a trial version with several limitations. The trial license lasts 7 days, three of the carousel types are disabled, the total number of items in a carousel is limited to 5 layers, and some utilities are disabled. If you buy the license you don't need to download any other files — you simply paste the license code and you're ready to go.
