Tilles Motion Ultra Box 3D builds a 3D box rig for After Effects from shape layers, fills and expressions. Because the rig doesn't use the Cinema 4D renderer, you can still use layer styles and blending modes as usual. Creating a box adds no assets to your project — just a composition with a unique name.
The rig offers three display modes. Fills renders the box faces with shape layers and expressions. Wireframe hides the fills and shows only the strokes, where you can change color and stroke width, apply dashes or wiggle path. Textures mode, triggered by SHIFT+clicking the main button, creates the cube alongside textures as compositions parented to the faces; these are not scaled or distorted when you change the cube size.
All faces are parented to a control layer you can rotate, scale and position to move the cube.
