timeinpixels False Color is a false color plugin for judging and matching exposure across Adobe CC hosts, Premiere Pro and After Effects, and any OpenFX host, including DaVinci Resolve, SCRATCH, NUKE and Vegas Pro. It ships with 13 presets, among them SmallHD (for DPx devices) and Zacuto, and lets you shape each one with grayscale ranges, custom transitions between colors (sharp, smooth or gradient) and any number of color ranges up to 15.
Beyond exposure, an improved Saturation Mode adds a dedicated "Saturation" preset that displays ranges more clearly, so you can match saturation from shot to shot. Any preset you build can be exported as a 3D LUT and loaded onto an on-set monitor to reuse the same overlay from pre-production prep.
The OpenFX version processes on the GPU for real-time playback in DaVinci Resolve and SCRATCH, while Adobe hosts handle GPU acceleration on supported hardware. In Resolve, a Scale Overlay mode renders the scale on a separate layer above the viewer that you can reposition without obstructing the image.
