UXLink earns its place in the aescripts library for reducing the Figma-to-After Effects handoff to two clicks, with transfer working in both directions.
UXLink is a plugin from Maher Wali that moves designs between Figma and After Effects. Sending a design from Figma to After Effects takes two clicks, and transfer also runs from After Effects back to Figma.
Beyond the core transfer, UXLink handles group masks and Figma motion. It supports components and component instances, multi-style text, and effects including Drop Shadow and Layer Blur. Recent releases added blend modes, image fills and image strokes, along with fixes to gradient color consistency and nested-frame masking.
UXLink is compatible with After Effects 2026 and 2025, and with Figma 126. This is version 1.2.9, last updated June 2026. A demo video is available on the developer's page, and the plugin is listed here as free.
