What is VariFont?

VariFont is a native plugin from Braindot Design that adds support for Variable Fonts inside Adobe After Effects. It also works in Premiere Pro, extending the same Variable Fonts handling to Adobe's editing application.

Compatibility reaches from After Effects CC 2019 up to After Effects 2025, and from Premiere Pro CC 2019 through 2024. The plugin is compatible with Apple Silicon/M1 machines, supports multi-frame rendering, and uses the current After Effects plugin interface. Earlier updates reorganised the UI and addressed glyph jittering during animations on some fonts.
