Vectory is an After Effects plugin that converts any image into a living network of moving lines. Its particle system scans pixel brightness, sending thousands of particles across the image so they change direction and build dynamic, evolving patterns. The developer positions it for creating organic motion graphics and abstract textures.
The plugin offers three main modes: Particles, Static Trails, and Trails. You can adjust movement randomness and set a global direction, customize particle size and lifetime, and use Fluctuation to add jitter and variation for more chaotic, energetic results. Gravity Points introduce interactive attraction and repulsion forces that shape how particles travel.
Color handling lets you keep the original image colors, apply custom palettes, or animate color transitions over time. A Drawing Mode switches between Nice and Simple rendering, with optional transparency and background color control. Vectory runs on After Effects 2026 back through 2020, and version 1.1 addressed spawn layer coordinate mapping and render pipeline handling.
