Influx earns its spot in the toolfarm library by folding extra container and codec support directly into the Adobe apps, removing the external transcoding step. The 1.6.1 update keeps it current with the 2026 releases and adds newer formats such as MV-HEVC and VVC / H.266.
Autokroma Influx works across After Effects, Premiere Pro, Media Encoder and Audition to handle additional containers, audio and video codecs. You can import and edit footage in Premiere Pro, process it in After Effects, export projects or transcode files in Media Encoder, and edit audio in Audition in new containers and codecs, without re-encoding or remuxing and without going through an external transcoding application first.
On the audio side, Influx handles formats including FLAC, OPUS, OGG Vorbis, DTS and DTS-HD Master Audio, AC-3 Dolby, AIFF, MKA, WMA Windows Media and SPX Speex. Version 1.6.1 adds support for After Effects, Premiere Pro and Media Encoder 2026, updates to the ffmpeg 7.1 libraries, and improves handling of multi-channel and 5.1 audio streams. It also extends decoding to Blu-Ray M2TS and MTS files, MV-HEVC 3D stereoscopic video from iPhone and Vision Pro, VVC / H.266, and raw H264, H265 and HEVC streams.
Influx runs on macOS Apple Silicon and Intel and on Windows 10 and 11, covering Adobe releases from CC 2019 through 2026. One license covers the same user on up to two computers.
