Captioneer earns its place in the aescripts library for handling captions in both After Effects and Premiere Pro, with Auto-Captions and an offline workflow kept current through frequent updates.
Captioneer, developed by Mograph Mindset, adds captioning to both After Effects and Premiere Pro. It generates captions in seconds and supports unlimited captions for all languages, covering work across the two applications from one plugin.
At its core is Auto-Captions, which can run on selectable transcription models including Large V3 and process on Auto, GPU, or CPU. An offline workflow is available, and captions can be imported from SRT files. Additional tools include filters, MOGRT updates, precomps for After Effects, Sync All, Copy and Paste Motion Attributes, and the option to generate a caption track from Auto-Captions.

Captioneer lets you choose Auto, GPU, or CPU for Auto-Captions processing, an option added in the 1.7.3 release. Auto-Captions can run on selectable transcription models, including Large V3, and an offline workflow is available. You can also generate a caption track from Auto-Captions and use a Stop button to halt processing. These options give you control over how transcription runs on your system.
