Thicc Stroke is a free, fully-featured, variable-width stroke plugin for After Effects. It applies to both masks and shapes, giving you control over how a stroke thickens and thins along its path. Width is set through infinite control points using the feather vertex tool, and you can choose between Butt and Round cap styles.
Color options include 2, 3, and 4-color gradients with loopable colors, and version 1.2 added a custom gradient parameter for more than four colors. Full trim path controls are built in, and trim paths can optionally influence the stroke's width, color, or both.
