Co-Dependencies is an After Effects script by Andrew Hildebrand for managing a project's files, keeping the files you need and removing the files you don't. It runs on both Mac and Windows.
The script's features include Extension, Characters in file path, and Data Size. Version 1.2 supports After Effects 2025, 2024, and 2023, and a demo video is available.
Released December 16, 2024, version 1.2 is a bug-fix update. It corrected the settings file saving to the wrong location for some Windows users and a problem that stopped some files from transferring in certain Windows projects. It also fixed EXR sequences being treated as layered files instead of sequences, image sequences being skipped when they lacked a delimiter before the sequence number, and the final image in a sequence being skipped in rare duration and frame-rate combinations. The update also alerts you if the Show Scripting Progress Dialog preference is turned off, which is required to run the script.
