Digital Anarchy Data Storyteller is a plugin set for turning data into animations inside After Effects, Premiere Pro, and DaVinci Resolve, with Final Cut Pro also supported. The package includes two plugins, Data Storyteller Charts and Data Storyteller Maps, so charts and maps run directly in the editing app without exporting and importing files back and forth.
You upload an Excel or CSV file, select a chart type, and animate one or multiple data sets. Setup works much like building graphics in Excel or Apple Numbers: choose what data to include, how the color or size of elements change, how elements animate on and off, transition effects, on-screen position, and more. Five chart types are available — Bar, Line, Scatter/Bubble, US Map, and World Map — each built from scratch or from a template.
Visualizations generate as vector-based graphics, so renders scale to HD, 4K, 8K, 12K, or higher. The plugin set is aimed at documentary editors, news programs, commercials, and corporate, marketing, or social media work.

Data Storyteller runs on Windows 10 and later, and on macOS High Sierra and later as well as macOS 11 and later. On Mac it supports both Intel and Apple Silicon chips, so newer Apple Silicon machines and older Intel Macs are both covered, while Windows 10 or newer is the requirement on the PC side.
