Grid Builder earns its spot in the aescripts library by consolidating grid creation, morphing, and proximity effects under a single Null.
Grid Builder is a grid engine for After Effects built around a single Null that handles creating, managing, and animating complex layouts. It offers four grid modes—rectangular, radial, path, and spherical—so a range of arrangements can be built and driven from one control point.
Beyond static layouts, Grid Builder triggers proximity effects. You can set up custom proximity, add multiple effectors, and run multiple proximity groups, and grids can be swapped while proximity is in use.
