LightSweepPro is a physics-based bevel and light sweep plugin for After Effects, developed by InovativeWorks. It applies to a single layer with no precompose required, and ships with 7 presets to start from.
The plugin covers a broad set of controls: bevel control and bevel profile, surface source, noise control, edge control, chromatic aberration, angle control, auto spin and jitter, color control, auto scale, output, and a luminance mode. LightSweepPro is designed to work on one layer with no precompose required. You apply the bevel and light sweep effect directly to the layer rather than nesting it in a precomposition. From there you can adjust its controls, including bevel, surface source, edge, noise, chromatic aberration, angle, color, and the sweep modes. This single-layer approach is one of the traits highlighted for the plugin.
LightSweepPro offers a Linear sweep mode along with four radial modes: Center-Out, Center-In, Edge-to-Center, and Custom Origin. Custom Origin uses an Origin Point parameter that is independent from Center, and a Radius Offset parameter, ranging from -300% to +300%, lets you keyframe radial sweep expansion and contraction. These radial modes were introduced in version 1.3.0, with refinements to Center-In and radial Edge Glow following in version 1.3.1.
