Obsessive Layers 2 is a layer-trimming tool for After Effects from The Drawing Room. It trims layers using several methods — keyframes, track mattes, markers, parenting, selection, visibility, and composition bounds — and most commands respond to a held ALT key for an alternate behaviour.
Trim to Keyframes and Trim to Markers snap layers to their first, last, or both keyframes or markers, and trim all layers when none are selected. Trim to Matte trims a layer to its track mattes, Trim to Parent and Trim to Children work along the parent chain, Trim to Selected aligns layers to a selected layer, Trim to Visibility uses 0% opacity keyframes, and Trim to Comp (2D) keeps 2D layers within the composition bounds while ignoring cameras.
