Pixel Pusher is a script from KiwiVFX for After Effects that pushes selected layers by a pixel amount you define. It includes Z position, a multiplier for those values, and a set of settable keyboard shortcuts for driving the moves.
Recent versions expand what the script handles. Keyframes support arrived in version 1.2.0, and the hotkey system displays the current key value in use, with Mac arrow buttons that multiply values. Other updates refined the interface, added an About button with documentation links, and introduced a dialog that appears when the project panel has no items, along with a check for whether the selected item is a composition.
Compatibility spans a broad set of After Effects releases, from CS5 through the 2024 version, covering both older and current installs. The script is listed as free here, and a demo video is available. Version 1.2.3 is the current release covered.
