AutoFill is a write-on tool for After Effects that fluidly fills in the bounds of your layer, cutting down on manual masking and keyframing. Version 2 was re-engineered around recent After Effects performance features: it supports Multi-Frame Rendering (MFR) for faster rendering across multiple cores, adds a caching system for real-time previews without resimulating, and runs GPU accelerated and Apple Silicon native with improved stability.
The Style Builder lets you composite, retime, blend, blur, displace and set unique fill types for up to 5 layers within a single instance of AutoFill. You can also apply one of 30 built-in presets in a single click, and the revamped 50+ presets project file returns updated for the new features. RGBA gradients are handled through an intuitive gradient UI, and three speed map modes are available: Shape Based Flow, Turbulent Noise and Combine All. AutoFill Bridges generate invisible bridges between disconnected elements with masks that travel with the layer.
AutoFill supports After Effects 2021 through 2026 and ships with video tutorials and a wiki.
