Why we like it

Earns its place in the aescripts library for consolidating Premiere Pro projects with automatic integrity checks and a detailed report. Currently at version 3.2.2, updated July 2026.

What is PlumePack?

PlumePack, from Autokroma, collects Adobe Premiere Pro projects and trims media to produce lighter, cleaner, easier-to-share consolidated projects. It creates a new project and a new folder holding all project media, then automatically replaces media paths with the copied, trimmed, or transcoded files. Alongside consolidation, a Toolbox offers tools to trim or transcode selected clips, UnMerge merged clips, and reorder timeline tracks.

The plugin copies files and all dependent files, including proxies, After Effects assets, sidecar files and XML. Three optimization modes are available: Optimize, Minimize File Number, or Each Timeline Clip Into a Unique File. It can clean unused items, filter a project by a selected list of sequences with nested sequences included recursively, and organize the new folder from your Premiere Pro bin structure or your original disk structure.

Presets save and recall configuration sets, while a Queue batch-processes multiple consolidations. PlumePack runs in the background so you can keep editing, performs automatic integrity checks on trimmed and transcoded files, and generates a detailed report at the end.
