Randomizer is a script from developer nab that assigns random values within a certain range to the transform properties of the selected layers in After Effects. It focuses on that single task, applying the randomized values across whichever layers you have selected.
The script reached version 3.3 on October 15, 2021, an update that added support for Separate Dimensions on position. Before that, version 3.2 from January 2017 fixed a bug in the random number generator that affected CC 2015 and later on mac. A demo video is also available.
Compatibility runs across a wide range of After Effects releases, from CS6 and the CC generations through CC 2014 to CC 2019, and on to the 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 versions. Check the developer's page for current licensing before downloading.
