RE:Vision Effects RE:Lens is a set of lens tools for After Effects, Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve that converts between lens projections, corrects distortions and stabilizes 360 VR, 180 VR and fisheye footage. It handles rectilinear, equirectangular LatLong 360 panoramic VR, fisheye, super fisheye, super wide-angle zoom, mirror ball and parabolic lens-mirror projection formats.
For single-camera 360 work, you can shoot with a superfish lens and convert to LatLong format suitable for 360 VR viewers; with the proper lens and camera setup, stitching can often be eliminated from the workflow. RE:Lens also converts 360 LatLong footage to 2D, lets you edit and animate a point of view, and can project motion graphics, titles or 3D material back onto non-rectilinear source. Straightening turns fisheye into rectilinear output, with perspective correction and pincushion and barrel handling for wide-angle zoom lenses.
The spherical stabilizer tracks and stabilizes global camera orientations directly on 360 VR and fisheye footage: press Track to analyze, then optionally adjust the stabilization profile. Version 2.6.0 added spherical stabilizer support in Premiere Pro.
